Here are some possible furniture configurations & parts lists for the NIFTIE modular bracket system. There are limitless options, so if you've built something cool please share it with me!
Standard Table
The simplest configuration:
- 4 CORNER BRACKETS
- 4 CORNER BRACES (optional, if your table is tall and/or long)
- 4 L ANGLES (optional, if your table is long, used to attach the top in the center)
Single Shelf / Cart
Adding a bottom shelf to the Standard Table
- 4 CORNER BRACKETS
- 4 BOTTOM BRACKETS
- 4-8 CORNER BRACES (optional, if your table is tall and/or long)
- 4 L ANGLES (attach the shelf)
- Casters/Levelling feet (optional)
Standard Desk
- 4 CORNER BRACKETS
- 2 BOTTOM BRACKETS
- 1 BOTTOM LEFT BRACKET
- 1 BOTTOM RIGHT BRACKET
- 4 CORNER BRACES
- 4 L ANGLES (optional, if your table is long, used to attach the top in the center)
- Levelling feet (optional)
Shelving Unit
Building a shelving unit is similar to the cart, but with more cubes vertically and/or horizontally. For the following configuration I used:
- 16 CORNER BRACKETS
- 4 BOTTOM BRACKETS
- 8 MIDDLE BRACKETS
- 16 CORNER BRACES
- 20 L ANGLES
Narrow Shelf / Console Table
For a 2-level shelf I used:
- 8 CORNER BRACKETS
- 4 MIDDLE BRACKETS
- 16 CORNER BRACES
